KVSA (Royal United Ship Agencies) is conveniently located in Ijmuiden on the southern side of the locks. The company has been in operation since the opening of the North Sea Canal in 1876: acting as reporting agents for inland agents and as full agents for ships calling at IJmuiden, Velsen of Beverwijk.

Tariff as per January 1st 2010 for attendance and reporting of ships passing the locks at IJmuiden inward bound.
Attendance on outward voyage is included in the inward tariff.
Sole outward attendance is charged at 50% of the inward tariff.

The Company provides shipping related messages to its customers, under the  strict condition that such received messages, are for internal use only. It is prohibited to forward said messages to third parties, either with or without charges.
The tariff-rates are net remuneration for services rendered and do not include any outlays.
All our activities are subject to the General Conditions of the "ORAM", section shipbrokers, filed with the Registry of the Amsterdam County Court on December 1st 1992.

Other services provided by KVSA are travel arrangements (IATA member). The tickets can be delivered on board whilst the vessel is passing the locks.

Mobile telephone for rental. Booking in advance via the agents. The boarding clerks will deliver the phone on board when passing the locks or berthed in the ports of IJmuiden.

KVSA is the operator of the Felison Terminal for ferry and cruise vessels.
